Gundowring’s lovely, often intense, sometimes surprising, flavours are achieved without the use of artificial flavours. You are tasting the real thing!
Gundowring ice cream is:
- Hand made, on the Gundowring farm, with fresh milk and natural local ingredients
- Not mass produced. It is made in individual batches, using a real egg anglaise base
- Interesting. Using seasonal, real flavours from local fresh fruit, nuts, and honey; even regional organic licorice. The provenance of all ingredients is very important to Gundowring. No added colours or flavours (artificial or natural) are used.
- Made from the highest quality milk and cream produced by grass fed, free range cows, which are not fed GMO’s or antibiotics.
- Made by real people. Gundowring is a small family company run by Steve and Sarah Crooke and son James, and employing people from the local community.
This is a multi-award-winning ice cream. Among its many awards, the most recent:
At the 2010 Australian Grand Dairy Awards, Gundowring Licorice was chosen as Australia’s Best Ice Cream, winning the dairy industry’s pinnacle prize, Grand Champion Dairy Product. Not to be outshone, the ever-popular Raspberry was declared Champion Ice Cream at the highly contested 2010 Sydney Royal Cheese & Dairy Produce Show.
